What kind of sites are you listing here?
You may submit any kind of site that fits into one of the three main categories: Computer & Internet, Entertainment, Lifestyle. However I am trying to keep a certain level of quality for all sites listed here and therefore reserve the right to refuse any site that I don't see fit in here, including, but not limited to sites that seem to offer not much but ads and banners, but no value to the visitor or sites of incredibly bad quality (design, content, spelling, etc).
And of course, I will not list sites remotely featuring anything illegal, criminal, racist or pornographic.
In addition I am not adding forums that require registration to be able to read anything and sites that are not currently open, i.e. "coming soon" or undergoing maintenance.
When you have a site listed here registering will give you the possibility to edit your site's listing. You will also receive important email notifications regarding the directory. Please note that I am not talking about a newsletter, but rather memos maybe once or twice a year.
You will also be able to comment on articles much easier - your member account will work for both the blog and the directory.
You need a member account that is connected with all of your links listed at Link Lounge. Once you have that member account and you're logged in you can access your cPanel. There you will find a list of all pages you have submitted.
Click on the little "E" in the right column to access each site's "edit" page.
Why Is My Site Listed Here? I Didn't Submit It.
At Link Lounge everyone is free to submit his/her favourite links so others can find them, too. Also the webmasters add links frequently.
So please don't worry if you find your site here, you can only benefit from it. You are not required to link back, and if you want to edit your site's listing, please follow the instructions above.
How Can I Edit My Link When I Didn't Submit It?
Register for a member account, wait to get approved, then login and enter your "options". There you will find instructions on how to connect your site with your member account. If you have problems or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Joining is really simple. All you need to do is collecting hits from your site to Link Lounge. In order to do that each link has its special customised tracking URL to make sure those hits are counted correctly.
That URL can be found on your "Options" page. As a registered member all your links will show up on that page including the linking code. If you don't have a member account or just want a fast way to do this, add this code to your page:
http://link-lounge.com/thelinks/in.php?id=XXX
Don't forget to exchange XXX with your site's id. You can find that by hovering over your site's link within the directory. The id will show up at the end of the URL in the status bar.
Why do I get eMails about sites that are being added to the directory? Those are not my sites.
Please don't panic, there is nothing wrong and noone hacked into your account.
It appears that when you registered your member account you turn on the feature that will notify you whenever a new link is added to Link-Lounge.com.
Please log into your account, there you can easily turn this feature off.
